1. Product description

Rayson SealForce SP200 is a hot spray-applied, 100% solids, rapid-curing pure polyurea membrane that forms a seamless, chemically resistant waterproof and protective lining on concrete and steel.

SealForce SP200 is Rayson's spray-grade pure polyurea: a two-component, 100% solids system that gels in seconds and builds a seamless, monolithic membrane over concrete and steel — including across field joints. It is placed by heated plural-component spray equipment and is put into light service within minutes.

2. Recommended uses

  • Below-grade waterproofing and tanking
  • Tank coating and waste-water tank lining
  • Water containment, landscape water features and waterparks
  • Secondary containment linings
  • Marine and splash-zone structures
  • Roof waterproofing where a sprayed seamless membrane is specified

3. Suitable substrates

  • Abrasive-blasted concrete with blowholes filled
  • Grit-blasted steel (coated before flash-rust reforms)
  • Primed with the specified Rayson primer for the substrate
  • Potable-water contact requires the specified potable-grade primer

4. Key properties

  • Seamless, monolithic pure polyurea — including across field joints
  • Rapid cure — light service within about an hour
  • Excellent chemical resistance, impact, abrasion and puncture resistance
  • Very low permeability and very low VOC
  • Suitable for potable water with the specified primer
  • Waterproofing
  • Chemical resistance
  • Abrasion resistance
  • Fast return to service

5. System role

Standalone coating.

6. Technical data

Surface preparation Concrete is abrasive- or shot-blasted to a sound, open profile with blowholes filled; steel is grit-blasted to a clean, dry standard and coated before flash-rust reforms. Prime with the specified Rayson primer — a potable-grade primer where drinking-water contact applies — and allow it to become tack-free before spraying.
Mixing / dilution Two components metered and mixed in the heated spray gun at a 1:1 volume ratio; block and hose temperature 60–70 °C, spray pressure 2000–2500 psi; do not dilute
Application method Hot airless spray (plural-component)
Coverage 1.0–3.0 litres/m² depending on specification; normal minimum 1.5 litres/m² (1.5 mm DFT external, 2.5–3.0 mm for water-retaining structures)
Application conditions Applied by heated plural-component spray plant by specialist applicators; substrate above the dew point and free of surface moisture.
Drying & curing Gel time 5–10 seconds; walkable ~2 minutes; light traffic 15–20 minutes; post-cure 24 hours
Recoat interval Seamless single- or multi-pass application; consult the method statement for recoat and overlay windows.
Film / thickness Typically 1.5 mm dry film externally, rising to 2.5–3.0 mm on water-retaining structures.
Pack sizes Part A 22.5 kg or 225 kg; Part B 21 kg or 212 kg
Storage Store in dry conditions in original, unopened drums. Shelf life about 24 months; high heat or humidity shortens it.
Shelf life Approximately 24 months from manufacture in unopened original drums.

8. Recommended system

Sprayed tank / containment lining

  1. Abrasive-blast the concrete or grit-blast the steel
  2. Fill blowholes and prime with the specified Rayson primer
  3. Spray-apply SealForce SP200 to the specified thickness
  4. Post-cure before returning to service

9. Limitations

10. Health & safety

Two-component product. Wear gloves, eye protection and suitable respiratory protection where ventilation is limited. Avoid skin and eye contact. Keep out of reach of children. Consult the Safety Data Sheet (in preparation) before use.
