    Smooth concrete (minimum 28 days old, moisture content below 5%)

    Prepare the material as specified

    One pre-weighed component; stir well for 2 minutes with a mixing paddle before use

    Apply with the correct tools

    Recommended methods: Short-bristled brush, Roller. Confirm coat count and thickness for the project.

    Protect through the required cure

    Surface dry approximately 1 hour at 28 °C

What to know before specifying Rayson PrimeBond W10.

Is PrimeBond W10 suitable for occupied buildings?

Yes — it is water-based, low VOC and low odour, which is exactly the situation it is designed for. Normal housekeeping around wet coatings still applies.

Does it need mixing with a hardener?

No. It is a single-component product supplied ready to use; just stir thoroughly for about two minutes before application.

How do I build an anti-slip finish from this primer?

Broadcast a fine aggregate into the wet primer, sweep off the excess once dry, then seal with UraForce WB52 topcoat. The aggregate grade sets the texture — our technical team can advise on the right grade for your cleaning regime.

How porous can the substrate be?

Coverage varies from roughly 5 to 10 m² per litre with porosity; very absorbent screeds may need a second priming coat to achieve a full seal.

Can it go straight over a power-floated slab?

The slab still needs mechanical preparation to remove laitance and open the surface — priming is not a substitute for preparation.
